From New Recruit to Site Supervisor: Simran Kahlon’s Journey at Condor Security
Careers don’t always follow a straight path.
Sometimes, the right opportunity, the right mindset, and the willingness to keep learning can accelerate your growth in ways you never imagined.
That has certainly been true for Simran Kahlon, Condor Security’s Employee of the Month for May 2026.
Having entered condominium security in 2023, Simran quickly established herself as a dependable professional with a passion for customer service, continuous learning, and leadership. Today, as Site Supervisor at Queen Central Condos, she helps lead her team while ensuring residents receive the exceptional service and security they deserve.
Her journey is a reminder that at Condor Security, growth isn’t measured simply by years of service, it’s driven by dedication, professionalism, and the desire to keep improving.
Every Conversation Matters
Ask Simran what she enjoys most about her role, and she doesn’t immediately mention emergency response or building operations.
She talks about people.
“The part I enjoy most is interacting with residents and providing excellent customer service,” she says. “Every day I get the opportunity to meet new people, build positive relationships, and help create a safe and welcoming environment.”
For Simran, security is about much more than protecting a property.
It’s about creating an environment where residents feel comfortable approaching the front desk, asking questions, and knowing someone is always there to help.
That trust is something she never takes for granted.
Learning That Leads Somewhere
One of the reasons Simran has grown so quickly within Condor is her commitment to learning.
Since joining the company, she has embraced every opportunity to strengthen her skills through training, practical experience, and mentorship.
“The training gave me confidence,” she explains. “It helped me better understand my responsibilities, improve my decision-making, and prepare for different situations.“
But she believes the learning doesn’t stop when the classroom ends.
Every shift presents a new challenge, a new interaction, or a new lesson that helps her become a stronger security professional.
By combining formal training with real-world experience, she’s built the confidence to lead a team while continuing to develop her own abilities.
Rising to the Challenge
Some lessons in security come unexpectedly.
For Simran, one memorable shift involved responding to a significant water leak that threatened to cause extensive damage to the building.
Rather than allowing the situation to become overwhelming, she relied on her training, followed established procedures, coordinated with the appropriate contacts, and ensured the incident was documented thoroughly.
Because the response was immediate and organized, further damage was minimized.
Looking back, she says the experience reinforced the importance of staying calm under pressure and trusting the procedures that had been practiced long before the emergency occurred.
It’s proof that preparation often makes the biggest difference when every minute counts.
Growing Into a Leader
As Site Supervisor, Simran’s responsibilities now extend beyond her own performance.
She’s also focused on helping others succeed.
Whether onboarding new guards, sharing site-specific knowledge, or answering questions throughout the shift, she enjoys helping new team members gain confidence in their roles.
“I always try to support new employees and help them feel comfortable” she says.
She understands that every experienced supervisor was once the new guard asking questions.
By creating an environment where learning is encouraged, she’s helping strengthen not only her team, but the service residents receive every day.
Small Improvements, Every Day
One of the biggest changes Simran has noticed since beginning her career is her growth as a communicator.
Working closely with residents, contractors, emergency responders, and building management has strengthened her confidence while improving her ability to solve problems calmly and professionally.
She also believes that improvement is a daily habit.
By listening to feedback, observing experienced colleagues, and reflecting on each shift, she continues to build on the foundation established through Condor’s training programs.
For Simran, every day offers another opportunity to become a little better than the day before.
A Career Worth Building
When asked what motivates her, Simran’s answer reflects the responsibility she feels toward both her residents and her team.
“What motivates me most is knowing that people rely on me,” she says. “I take pride in providing excellent service, maintaining safety, and challenging myself to keep growing.“
That mindset has helped her build an impressive career in a relatively short period of time, one founded on professionalism, consistency, and a genuine commitment to helping others.
Being recognized as Employee of the Month is an achievement she values deeply.
“It means a lot to know that my hard work and dedication have been recognized,” she says. “I’m grateful to Condor Security for providing the opportunity, training, and support that have helped me succeed.“
Simran’s journey demonstrates what’s possible when opportunity meets determination. From starting her career in condominium security to leading a site and mentoring others, she continues to show that success is built through continuous learning, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence.
Congratulations, Simran Kahlon, on being recognized as Condor Security’s Employee of the Month for May 2026. Thank you for your leadership, your professionalism, and for inspiring others to keep learning, keep growing, and always give their best.
