Condor Security is proud to recognize Tarun Tarun as our Employee of the Month for March 2026. Since joining the team, Tarun has demonstrated dedication, professionalism, and a strong commitment to both customer service and safety.

Tarun began his journey with Condor Security as a floater, working across multiple sites while balancing his studies. A graduate of Georgian College’s Information Technology program, he quickly built a reputation for his reliability and strong understanding of software systems and access control. His ability to adapt to different environments and maintain high standards has made him a trusted member of the team.

A Journey of Growth

Originally from Punjab, Tarun came to Canada after high school with a goal of building a better future. Entering the condominium security environment was a new experience, but one that helped shape both his professional and personal growth.

“I came from a small town and didn’t know what to expect in condominiums,” he shared. “But working here helped me become more confident and outgoing.”

As a concierge, Tarun takes pride in being the first point of contact for residents and visitors, representing not only Condor Security but also his own values and background with professionalism and respect.

Training That Builds Confidence

Tarun has completed several training programs, including Level 1 Basic Security Training, Tactical Awareness, Verbal Judo, and Customer Service. He credits hands-on, practical training as a key factor in his development.

“Live training gives you a much better understanding than just theory,” he explained. “It prepares you for real situations.”

He applies this knowledge daily, whether managing access control, responding to incidents, or handling challenging situations with calmness and awareness.

Making a Difference Through Service

One of the areas where Tarun has grown the most is in customer service. Early on, he realized the importance of small gestures, such as greeting residents with a smile.

“I didn’t used to smile much,” he admitted. “But I learned how something as simple as that can change someone’s entire day.”

He recalls a moment during a busy December shift when a delivery driver initially responded coldly to his greeting. After completing the delivery, the driver returned to apologize, explaining he had a difficult day and appreciated Tarun’s kindness. Tarun responded with understanding, and even offered him chocolates, demonstrating the empathy he brings to his role.

Going Above and Beyond

Tarun’s professionalism is matched by his compassion. In one instance, he encountered a trespasser who appeared intoxicated and injured. Rather than simply removing him from the property, Tarun took the time to assess the situation, ensure the individual’s safety, and call emergency services.

Despite his shift ending, he stayed an additional 30 minutes to ensure help arrived.

“I don’t just see the site as my job,” he said. “I see it as my home.”

Leading by Example

Tarun is also committed to supporting his colleagues. He provides thorough guidance to new team members, encouraging them to take notes, ask questions, and remain professional in all situations—especially when dealing with difficult interactions.

He emphasizes the importance of clear communication, respect, and explaining procedures to residents, helping to maintain both security and trust.

Motivation and Recognition

Tarun’s motivation comes from his family, whose sacrifices brought him to Canada. Their pride in his work continues to drive him to perform at his best every day.

Being named Employee of the Month holds special meaning for him.

“With so many employees, being recognized by management means a lot,” he shared. “It shows that I’m doing something right and that I’m a reliable member of the team.”

Tarun embodies Condor Security’s core values of professionalism, empathy, and dedication. His journey is a strong example of how hard work and a positive attitude can make a lasting impact.

Congratulations, Tarun—we are proud to have you on the Condor team.
