Finding Purpose and Professionalism

When searching for a new role, Ulysses wasn’t just looking for a job; he was looking for the right company. “I knew I had skills people could use, but I wanted to find a company worth representing,” he shares.

From his first day, it was clear Condor Security was that company. The professional appearance of the team, the emphasis on training, and the presence of a hands-on leadership team made a strong impression. “Condor Security valued what I value: professionalism, growth, and high standards.”

Training the Condor Way

Ulysses took full advantage of Condor Security’s strong training programs. He finished several courses. These include:

– Level 1–3 Security Training

– Verbal Judo

– Fire Safety

– Customer Service

– Tactical Awareness

– First Aid/CPR/AED

– Mobile Patrol Supervisor (MPS) Training “These trainings laid a strong foundation,” he says, “but it was the guidance from experienced colleagues that brought it all to life. Training gave me the tools, but teamwork made all the difference.”

Among all his training, Level 3 stood out most. “It tested us physically and mentally but also built real camaraderie. That shared challenge taught us discipline, mental toughness, and a ‘one team, one mindset’ approach.”

Leadership and Gratitude

Ulysses is a natural leader who thrives on supporting and motivating his team. “What I love most is helping others push through tough times. I lead with experience and life lessons.”

Gratitude fuels his outlook. “There’s always more to be thankful for than to stress over. Even the basics: clean water, electricity, public transit, motivate me to give more in my work.”

Calm, Confident, and Composed

Ulysses believes staying calm under pressure is essential in security. “You need to project confidence. If people feel you’re in control, they’re more likely to trust you. Condor Security teaches us the techniques, but you must practice mastering them.”

Advice to Newcomers

His message to new team members is clear: “Take your role seriously. You’re not just filling a post, you’re protecting people.

Show up well-fed, hydrated, in full uniform, and looking sharp. That energy sets the tone for your shift. Do your best, and let your success speak for itself.”

Ulysses Gonzales sets a powerful example of what it means to be a committed and values-driven professional. We’re proud to celebrate his achievements and honored to have him represent Condor Security. Congratulations, Ulysses, on being our Employee of the Month for June 2025.
